St. John's curriculum is a written set of expectations that our students will master in a particular subject area at each certain grade level. St. John's Lutheran School aligns its curriculum with the standards set by the state of Colorado and adds additional expectations to these standards. We also strive to make sure our curriculum matches and adheres to our church and schools mission statement & pholosphy.  Curriculum through the grades spirals and grows to stretch and expand the knowledge that students possess. Textbooks and other aids to teaching the curriculum are purchased based on the written curriculum.  Click on each subject area below in order to view our curriculum guides for that subject.  Each curriculum guide contains a subject purpose statement - a list of adopted textbooks and curriculum materials for that subject - an overview of what is covered in each subject at each gradelevel -  and a curriculum framework which shows a breakdown of how our curriculum meets the state standards at each grade level.
