Class Videos: Each student told about the first day of school. I will be posting the videos on the school website and the Yahoo Group (if possible). Please let me know ASAP if you do not want your child’s video online.

Homework Project: I Love…
Please make sure that your child brings his/her homework project to school tomorrow. The students will have the opportunity to present them to the class and then the projects will be displayed on the bulletin board.

1st Grade News:

Once on the school website look for the “K-8 School” tab located at the top left side of the page Then click on “K-8 Class Pages” and select 1st Grade. If you would like to receive this newsletter via email please email me. If you have already requested to receive this newsletter by email it will be sent Thursday evening.

Back to School Night:

Thank you for joining me for back to school night. I enjoyed meeting all of you. If you have not filled out the questionnaire or contact information please do so and send it back on Friday in the Thursday Folder.  Please let me know if you need another copy of either of the documents. If you were unable to attend Back to School Night, please touch base with me if you haven’t already.

Reading Log:

The first reading log is due TOMORROW- Friday, August 27. Please send the reading log back when every line has been filled in and the sheet has been signed. The student receives a reward for every 5 logs completed. A blank log should be enclosed in the Thursday Folder.

Please remember that spelling tests are on Fridays and memory is recited on Thursdays. I will expect the students to recite the memory with minimal prompts.
